The Automotodrom Grobnik is a motor sports circuit located a few kilometres north of Rijeka in Croatia. The Yugoslav Motorcycle Grand Prix was run here from 1978 to 1990.4.168km in length in motorbike configuration, including just over 2,000m of straight line.The history of the Rijeka circuit is intertwined with the history of Yugoslavia. Built in 2 months on Tito's orders, the circuit was intended to replace the Opatija circuit, which the FIM considered obsolete. The track opened for racing on 17 September 1978.
